	Near infra-red spectrometry (NIRS) has proven itself for decades in agricultural analysis and has advanced in theory and practice. At the same time it is emerging that the transition from laboratory to field measurement and also to online measurement directly on harvesting machines is achieving increasing significance.

	WINTERSTEIGER offers the attachment of various NIRS devices for online data collection regarding moisture and contents (protein, starch, oil, etc.) on the following harvesting machines:

	•	WINTERSTEIGER Delta
	•	WINTERSTEIGER Cibus
	•	Retrofitting to older machines
	NIRS is used for maize grain, oil seed rape, cereals and green fodder.
