The WINTERSTEIGER Basejet is an automated base repair extruder for skis and snowboards. The Basejet extrudes the base material with maximum melt quality featuring numerous innovations. The Basejet‘s new extruding system, including a pivotable head, promises a high throughput rate with feed speeds of up to 4 m/min.
The dual-chamber melt unit enables rapid color change of the polyethylene material. Material consumption is reduced with automatic adaptation to the ski and snowboard geometry using innovative valve technology - the valves open depending on the width of the running surface. The Basejet is super efficient due to its minimum space requirements. There is no need for binding bridges with base up processing, allowing for a higher standard of quality with the extrusion always in view. |
