The top models in the Sigma-series are the Sigma RS 200 and Sigma RS 350 featuring the Racing-Module for strict parameter- controlled racing structures. This combination of the Sigma-series stone grinder and the Racing-Module offers a very powerful service for your customer and rental skis with the additional opportunity of being able to offer a professional racing service.
The Sigma RS models offers a self-centering unit for exact symmetrical structures for the single stone grinding machines, and a pneumatically controlled feed wheel with servo-controlled pressure compensation for use with binding bridges allowing continual even pressure over the whole length of the ski or snowboard. The unlimited variation of diverse structures can be reached with such features as variable controlled stone and dresser speeds, a multiple-stage diamond depth and the offset structure inclination that can be selected in stages. These aspects in combination with the special racing diamonds from WINTERSTEIGER can create center-related structures such as the arrow structure, superimposed structures and even structures related to the ski and snowboard width.
The core of all the Sigma stone grinding machines is the new operating panel featuring a touch monitor. The operator friendly menu guide allows the user to save numerous grinding programs, which can be adjusted on an individual basis. And still the best is yet to come! The top three most often used programs can be saved on the “Easy Go”-selector switch (A, B or C) for a simple pre-selected structure. This means you can start your selected program immediately. Revolutionarily simple – simply revolutionary!
The racing software for the parameter-controlled racing structures is pioneering. The machine setting parameters for any specific structure can be determined automatically based on the input selection of snow/air temperature, type of snow, air humidity and discipline (Alpine and Nordic). This was developed in close cooperation with the ÖSV (Austria Ski Team).
An overview of the data is displayed on the control panels large touch screen monitor. Up to 40 individual grinding programs for the stone can be saved, while offering the “Easy Go”-selector switch for a quick and easy access of the three most used programs.
