Wintersteiger: One-Stop Shop

Ried. The second Service and Rental Trade Fair took place from 24 - 26 August at Wintersteiger's headquarters in Ried. The market leader showcased its entire product range for ski service and rental on an exhibition area covering 500 m2. Just under 200 dealers from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland caught up on product innovations and had the opportunity to follow the live manufacture of products from development and production to assembly during a tour of the company.

Service and Rental Highlights

The "Discovery" fully automatic service station for skis and snowboards was the focus of interest in the machinery sector. Some 55 modules have already been sold this year alone. With over 300 modules sold, the Discovery is the most successful service robot on the market.

The new "Basejet" - an automatic base repair machine for skis and snowboards - is already exceeding sales expectations this year with more than 60 sold so far. The completely new base repair system, which guarantees a throughput rate of up to 60 pairs of skis an hour, has low material consumption, a pivotable repair head for rapid colour changeover and compact machine dimensions - all advantages which captivated visitors during the presentation.

In the rental sector, the new covers for the Easystore storage systems attracted a lot of interest. The covers can be installed on all existing Easystore racks and are available in different materials and individually printed designs. As a result, customers can design their rental shop completely in line with their own requirements.

Thanks to the partnership with Gladek-Technik in the area of depot lockers, Wintersteiger's range of rental, depot and drying systems has become even more versatile. The lockers are individually planned to meet customer requirements with the focus on maximum utilization of space, drying and disinfection, a variety of access systems and customized designs.

Once again, Wintersteiger was able to demonstrate its leadership in innovation and quality most impressively and offered visitors a comprehensive overview of the entire range of products and services.

As a thank-you for coming, visitors were invited to a free visit to the Geinberg thermal spa close by and also had the chance to win exclusive KTM X-Bow Expert Training at the Wachauring in Melk. Jakob Breitfuss of Intersport Breitfuss in Hinterglemm was drawn as the lucky winner.
