As the worldwide number one in field trials technology, WINTERSTEIGER is once again one step ahead on precisely this point. It concentrated in 2010 on taking a new look at inter- and inner-organizational processes and transferring them to a more flexible production system. The result: WINTERSTEIGER produces just-in-time! And you benefit from this because it is now possible to respond better and faster to specific customer requests due to an assembly process that relates exclusively to customer orders.
More than 40 SEEDMECH machines already produced "just in time"!
The changeover of the entire production process can already be considered a complete success. A significant improvement in quality assurance during production on all assembly lines goes hand in hand with a substantial reduction in the cycle time. The new production and quality program is proving to be excellent for preventing defects and therefore ensures that the high demands placed on WINTERSTEIGER products throughout the world are met with confidence. So far more than 40 machines have been produced on the new assembly lines. The first machine to go through the new production concept was a Delta plot combine.
WINTERSTEIGER's top priority: Quality!
WINTERSTEIGER is continuing to invest further in continuous improvement of its production quality. As a result, all machines, systems and components are subjected to thorough testing in a dedicated test centre prior to delivery. A function test which follows precise and extremely strict specifications and lasts for several hours is performed on every customer machine. The many different influencing factors that can arise during use are simulated during the test. The results of these tests are documented in detail and incorporated in a continuous improvement process. Only in this way can we produce the quality machines that are expected of a market leader.
Our after-sales service team is available as usual following delivery. It will help and advise you on training, maintenance and spare parts supply and of course it is also on hand in the event of emergencies. This is a worldwide service even if your machine has been purchased in Germany and finds its way to Australia at a later date.
