Fusion in the Arlberg: Stanton Service Center Arrives with WINTERSTEIGER as Partner

In future, the three big sports dealers and rental companies Intersport Arlberg, Sport Alber and Sport Jennewein - with a total of 17 branches in the Arlberg region - will operate a central service workshop jointly under the name "Stanton Service Center".

Prior to the fusion, the three sports dealers worked independently of each other and each had two automated tuning systems. In the end it was Michael Ess from Intersport Arlberg who came up with the idea for a central service workshop. WINTERSTEIGER persuaded all three sports dealers with a coherent concept. As the exclusive partner, WINTERSTEIGER will supply all the machines for the new central service workshop. In detail, the project includes two Discovery SSF and a Tunejet SBF automats, a Basejet automated base repair machine and a Sigma B belt grinder.

The three sports dealers were also enthusiastic about the possibility of leasing staff from WINTERSTEIGER. As a result, a highly-qualified WINTERSTEIGER technician will be on hand in the central service workshop in St. Anton for the next five years. Via WINTERSTEIGER's staff leasing service, the Stanton Service Center will gain a highly-motivated employee who is not only very familiar with the machines but who also has significant expertise when it comes to ski tuning.
