Marcel Hirscher and Marlies Schild had already tried them out previously and were fans - since the middle of November, all the athletes of the Austria ski team have access to BootDoc insoles and compression socks.

According to BootDoc's managing director Andreas Zauner, the experience of the experts will be continuously incorporated in product development which will also ultimately benefit those who ski as a hobby. BootDoc insoles stabilise and position the foot in the shoe which helps keep the body in balance. Every discipline therefore has different requirements. "We match materials and design to the control, absorption and stability behaviour and also allow for the dynamics of each discipline. While downhill skiers require more flexible insoles, direct weight transference is the deciding factor in slalom," says Zauner quoting just one example.

Not least because of this, the world's most successful ski association will rely on BootDoc's materials and constant development which are always applied to the entire product range.

Zauner says, "Our compression socks and insoles also provide the best foot care for athletes involved in advanced training, running and biking."
