Continuing professional development as a guarantee for quality and competence

All the German-speaking technicians met at WINTERSTEIGER headquarters in Ried for the annual ERFA Meeting from 6 to 10 June 2011. Thirty service technicians from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Italy took a close look the following key topics:

  • Perfect ski tuning using a variety of diamonds
  • Electrical user training course on new hardware and software
  • Maintenance work on WINTERSTEIGER machines
  • Innovations to existing products

Thanks to some professional preparation, it was possible over the course of a week to examine WINTERSTEIGER's entire product range expertly and in greater detail. Our upcoming young technicians enjoyed some special training particularly when older tuning machines were used. However, there has to be an element of fun to CPD too so we tested the team spirit of our technicians at a sporting level with an international football match. Then they really had the chance to put their foot down during an exciting formula 1 kart race where the contestants fought eagerly for the title of "Fastest Service Technician". 
Continuing professional development for the service team is a key feature of quality and competence at WINTERSTEIGER.
