The new Trimjet edge grinding machine can be enhanced with freely selectable upgrade packages that can raise it from the basic version all the way up to the racing level. Service managers and product managers from Atomic, Fischer Sports and Rossignol report about their experience with the machine.

Atomic (Altenmarkt, Austria).

Christian Höflehner, head of alpine racing service: "We have been using the first Trimjet since 2009 and our experience is very positive. We also ordered the new Trimjet Racing and feedback from the racers after testing on snow has all been positive. For us, the new Trimjet Racing is a great further development of the first generation: The automatic disc cleaner, the additional feed roller and the rotation speed control are particularly useful!"

Fischer Sports (Ried im Innkreis, Austria).

August Burgstaller, head of alpine racing service: "The great thing about the new Trimjet Racing is the fact that we are now very flexible. Every day we have many different ski shapes, lengths and widths to grind, and the Trimjet Racing can be readjusted quickly and easily. The many different angle settings make this possible. Besides the practical aspect, we of course also appreciate the high precision achieved with the Trimjet Racing."

Johann Eichinger, alpine racing service: "The significant improvments compared to the first Trimjet generation are stronger motors, the stronger water pump and the infinitely variable speed control. The additional feed arm stabilizes the ski, improving precision. With the new centering unit, we achieve precise positioning for each pass.

The set-in points can be easily adjusted using the new control display, and a different speed can be chosen for the forward and return movements. The grinding force and the grinding force curve are as easy as pie to configure. Additionally, a large magnet in the machine helps to collect metal grinding waste and reduce impurities in the grinding coolant. The discs are easy to clean using the dressing diamond."

Rossignol (Saint-Jean-de-Moirans, France).

Jean Michel Dutruc, racing ski product manager: "The Trimjet Racing is very efficient and reliable. We appreciate the precise edge grinding along the entire length of the ski. Compared to the Trimjet 1, WINTERSTEIGER has indeed achieved some real improvements with the new Trimjet!"
