Service and Rental Fair with many news

A distinguished group of 150 visitors were guests at the 4th WINTERSTEIGER Service and Rental Fair in Ried/Innkreis between 22 and 24 August.

The world market leader had its complete range of tuning machines in operation spread over an area covering 500 m² in the exhibition hall of the company's headquarters. All those who had brought their skis and snowboards with them could have the finishing touch added to them.

WINTERSTEIGER's new Easystore shop furniture for ski rental, lockers and specialist sports shops was met with great approval by the specialist audience. The FOM system of Easystore components, which was first shown at ISPO has been further optimized in recent months and stands out in design and use by virtue of its maximum flexibility, optimum utilization of space and virtually unlimited compatibility. The sophisticated shopfitting range includes check-in, benches, adjustment/cash desks, showcases and POS furniture.

The daily information session on the topic of reservation and online reservation in conjunction with Easyrent was highly frequented. In addition to the existing services, WINTERSTEIGER has also developed a new reservation portal which will be available from the end of September. The option to integrate online payment systems will be a special feature.

The ultimate highlight of the Service and Rental Fair was the presentation of the new BootDoc foot analysis system ahead of its official market launch. Foot scans using red light halo technology are created at lightning speed in all light conditions and even in socks. The individual data are then evaluated on the touch screen display or by PDF with recommendations for the boot insoles and boot type.

Alexander Wallner (Sport Frey, Buchenberg/Germany) had a special reason to be pleased. He won the top prize during the WINTERSTEIGER Ski Challenge held on the three days of the fair and will enjoy professional drift/race training at the driving center of the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Hans Niederkofler (Sporting KG, Steinhaus/Italy) 2nd place and Rudi Span (Sport Stubai, Neustift/Austria) 3rd place were rewarded with accessories vouchers to the value of EUR 400 and 200 respectively.
