WKW Group convinced by Econ dryer

The internationally active automotive supplier WKW Group has subsidiaries worldwide with approx. 3,800 employees. The WKW Group specialises in the production of aluminium parts such as aluminium sheets, roof railing systems and many other important aluminium components for almost all car manufacturers.

 

"We were looking for an effective drying system for our foundry clothing. These are changed after casting, wet from welding, before the colleagues go on break. In addition to jackets and trousers, our work clothes also include gloves and helmets that have to be dried. It is extremely important for us to get the body odour out of the clothes during the drying process. Although the work clothes are changed and washed regularly, they are no longer fresh after the first cast," says Achim Petry, Casthouse Manager of the WKW Group from the Wuppertal branch.

 

"We have been using the Econ Universal Sterex condensation dryer since mid-2021 and are absolutely satisfied. The condensation technology pulls a lot of wetness out of the workwear in the form of a condensate. The additional odour removal based on the innovative Sterex process still excites us," says Achim Petry.
