Building Connections in Elkhart, Iowa

On November 19–20, Seedmech North America welcomed customers and partners to our brand-new U.S. headquarters in Elkhart, Iowa for the first-ever Seedmech USA Field Days. This two-day event was designed to showcase our capabilities, strengthen relationships, and celebrate a major milestone for WINTERSTEIGER in North America.

Despite rainy weather that kept us from performing live harvesting demos, the event was a success - thanks to the incredible turnout and engagement. Over 90 attendees across two days joined us from all over the U.S. and Canada, including representatives from leading seed companies, research organizations, and universities.

Highlights from the Event

• Facility Tour & Presentations: Guests explored our new headquarters and learned about the latest innovations from WINTERSTEIGER and our partners.
• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Elkhart’s Mayor and City Council officially welcomed us to the community.
• Hands-On Demos: While the fields were too wet for harvesting, customers enjoyed interactive equipment demonstrations in our shop.
• A Taste of Austria: Our Austrian beer garden was a crowd favorite, featuring bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels, and our own Split NH Lager, brewed by Sean Soyer with guidance from Rieder Brewery.
