The Erlebnishof in Wels offers children from 0 to 14 years of age a "holiday from illness". Accompanied by their families, children suffering from a serious illness can spend 14 days a year there free of charge. WINTERSTEIGER is supporting this important project with 5000 euros.

Relax, forget the illness, be able to be a child again – the Kumplgut is ideal for this. The farm in the middle of nature has 8 accommodation units with a total of 21 beds. In 2019, 85 families were accepted. At the "Erlebnishof" with a large playground, swimming pond, campfire site, own greenhouses and much more, teachers look after the little guests and put together a colourful weekly programme for them. Florian Aichhorn, director of the "Erlebnishof", wants to "make children's eyes shine" – this is certainly an enormously important factor in getting healthy.

WINTERSTEIGER CEO Florestan von Boxberg on the commitment: "Families are emotionally and often financially burdened by their child's illness. At the Erlebnishof they find a place to relax, where they can recharge their batteries." Instead of distributing customer gifts at Christmas, the international machine and plant construction group WINTERSTEIGER, based in Ried, Germany, supports social institutions every year.
