Renting skis and snowboards has never been so easy. For many winter sports enthusiasts, renting skis or snowboards is the rule rather than the exception. This benefits both the local communities and the sports stores where the rental procedure runs smoothly and stress-free. Online booking, check-in at self-service terminals, foot measuring to determine the perfect ski boot model, binding adjustment using the Sizefit tool instead of the ski boot – there is lots of potential in the rental process to save customers valuable time. time that could be spent on the slopes instead. Base, edges, wax – fully automatic, perfect angles, flawless bases, and 100 % reproducible results. But what services do skis and snowboards actual need? Our Jupiter knows exactly what to do.
Ski recognition and processing assignment
- With the "automatic ski recognition (Jupiter X)" option, the edge angles are set fully automatically on the machine and the skis are tuned according to the selected performance category.
- In the Jupiter M/L machine version, a hand-held scanner is used for ski recognition.
Ski recognition with Easyrent connection
- Every ski stored in the Easyrent database is equipped with an EAN code.
- In Easyrent, the skis are assigned to a category (Comfort, Sport, Race), either by importing the equipment data from the ski manufacturer or through assignment in the database.
- Jupiter reads the EAN code and the base and edges are then perfectly ground according to the category.
- Individually changed edge parameters are stored in Easyrent and are therefore precisely reproducible. Every ski is unique!

- Each ski is labeled with a durable QR code sticker, with a unique code for each of the three categories Comfort, Sport, and Race.
- Jupiter reads the QR code and the edges are perfectly ground according to the category.
Automated machine loading
Paternoster is our intelligent workshop assistant that enables Jupiter to work even more efficiently. Skis are scanned and processed fully automatically. So why not also use Jupiter loading?
