Timber Repair & Cosmetics
The TRC systems from WINTERSTEIGER cover the entire wood surface repair process chain. Defects are detected, cleaned, and filled using matching filling materials. Depending on your requirements for appearance, feel, and performance, WINTERSTEIGER offers a choice of thermoplastic fillers, organic filling material, or real wood inserts.
Automatic defect detection
Camera-supported scanning systems reliably detect knots, resin, deposits, and other defects in the top layer of wood with pinpoint accuracy.
Defect preparation
The defect is automatically cleaned and then optimally prepared to ensure maximum adhesion of the filling material.
Precise filling and repair
The filling material (thermoplastic, organic, or real wood) is injected into the defect leaving the surface with a high-quality look and feel.
