Consumers expect, and even demand, that sports retailers deliver excellent service quality. WINTERSTEIGER AG therefore offers ski service training before the season begins, which, for the first time this year, will also be provided at the sports retailers' premises.

The training takes the form of seminars for beginners and advanced users, from automated ski service machines to race service. New to this year's training program were individual training sessions for automated machines, where the trainer comes to the sports retailer. Emanuel Mayringer is responsible for the training program at WINTERSTEIGER: "By training users at their premises, participants can immediately apply what they have learned by setting and testing the parameters directly on their own machines. In addition, the WINTERSTEIGER specialists are happy to help when it comes to correcting and improving internal processes." Helfried Kriener of GW St. Pölten confirms the advantages: "I was able to train all my employees on our own machines at the same time. The group size was ideal and everyone benefited a lot. Next, we'll complete the advanced training and then maybe the race service seminar." Each participant receives a certificate and can continue their development into a service professional step by step.

For the first time, WINTERSTEIGER – an exclusive machine supplier to the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) since 1998 – offered an ÖSV race service seminar for participants from Austria. At the ÖSV Competence Center in Bramberg am Wildkogel, the race specialists showed the participants the intricacies of a world cup ski service, grinding structures specially designed for racing, as well as the trends in the race service sector.

WINTERSTEIGER seminars are offered every year at the Austrian headquarters in Ried im Innviertel as well as in Neuss and Arnstadt in Germany. The topics cover automated machine applications, ski and snowboard service, as well as race service. Training on the Easyrent rental software is also held at the sports retailer's premises in an individual training session according to their specific requirements.
