It all depends on the new generation!

Even in turbulent times, Wintersteiger remains true to its line and is fully committed to training young people: as in the previous year, 15 new apprentices started their careers at the mechanical and plant engineering company in August. They are being trained in the professions of electrical engineering (with focus on plant and operating technology), metal engineering (with focus on mechanical engineering) and office administrator. This makes WINTERSTEIGER one of the largest training companies in the region with more than 50 apprentices at its Ried site.

At Wintersteiger, young people can expect top training. They start in the training workshop, which is equipped with the same machines as the production facilities and enables them to learn in a practical way right from the start. Targeted preparation for vocational school, external seminars under the motto "Personalities in Development", the possibility of an apprenticeship with a school-leaving certificate and assignments abroad from the 3rd year of apprenticeship or from the age of 18 are among the cornerstones of training. In this way, the future skilled workers are optimally prepared for all the challenges of working life. CEO Florestan von Boxberg reports: "Almost 100% of the apprentices stay with us after their apprenticeship. This shows that we are on the right track and that the apprenticeship period at Wintersteiger is a very successful training phase".
