WINTERSTEIGER Announces North American Management Team Changes

WINTERSTEIGER Sports announces the retirement of John Todd, Product Manager Accessories, following an outstanding 36-year career with the company. John joined WINTERSTEIGER in 1990, just one year after the office opened in Salt Lake City and played an instrumental role in the growth of the company's Sports division in North America.

"John's 36 years with WINTERSTEIGER represent an extraordinary level of dedication and loyalty," said Fritz Hoeckner, Managing Director of WINTERSTEIGER Sports, LLC. "His expertise, honesty, and commitment to our customers have made a lasting impact on our company and the broader ski industry. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in retirement."

As John retires, WINTERSTEIGER has announced the following organizational changes within its North American operations:

• Heather Smith has been appointed Product Manager Accessories for WINTERSTEIGER Sports, assuming responsibility for the company's accessory product portfolio.
• Jay Vasquez has been promoted to Head of Inside Sales and Customer Service for both WINTERSTEIGER and BOOTDOC HOTRONIC, leading customer support and inside sales operations across both brands.

"Both Heather and Jay bring extensive experience, strong customer relationships, and a deep understanding of our business," said Hoeckner. "We are excited to see them step into these important leadership roles as we continue to support our customers and partners throughout North America."

John Todd's last day with WINTERSTEIGER will be September 30, 2026.
