"I began my career at WINTERSTEIGER in March 2002 as an unskilled worker, after dropping out of polytechnic college halfway through my second year. I was able to start my apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer in August, and I went on to complete my training with distinction after 3 ½ years.
After the apprenticeship, I worked in SEEDMECH in production and in Technical Customer Service. I moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in January 2010 to work for WINTERSTEIGER USA as a "Sales and Service Representative". As it transpired, this was the best decision I could have made: Those 18 months opened many doors for me at WINTERSTEIGER and after my secondment abroad I was immediately able to start work in the Ried office. Following a brief foray into mechanical engineering, I was promoted to the position of SEEDMECH Area Sales Manager at the start of 2012 and I remained in the role until the end of 2018.
Because the USA really got a hold of me, I've been back working for WINTERSTEIGER USA in Salt Lake City, Utah, since January 2019. As Sales Manager, I am responsible for all sales and customer service activities in the USA. I also manage the SEEDMECH team in Salt Lake City. And I'm also the first point of contact for all other SEEDMECH subsidiaries in the USA when it comes to sales questions or technical difficulties."
