FH Wieselburg visits WINTERSTEIGER

Students from the "Agricultural Technology and Digital Farming" program at the University of Applied Sciences in Wieselburg, Austria, traveled from Lower Austria to visit us in Ried. The contact was established by a student who is doing his internship with us and writing his bachelor thesis in the area of seed breeding.

 

After a company presentation and a technical lecture on Smart Farming, it was time to get hands-on in the showroom - with a presentation of our seed drills and combines. The machines were the highlight of the excursion and some of the students took a particularly close look...

 

Finally, there was a guided tour of the production halls to see how machines are made, from the sheet metal to the finished machine.
