15 years of the WINTERSTEIGER Golf Trophy

Guests from Austria, Germany, and South Tyrol at the WINTERSTEIGER 15th anniversary Golf Trophy

This year WINTERSTEIGER hosted its golf tournament for the 15th time. Around 70 sports retailers from Austria, Germany, and South Tyrol accepted the invitation and put their skills to the test in perfect golf weather.

WINTERSTEIGER chose the Audi Golf Course in Griesbach for the anniversary tournament. Designed by the world-class golfer Bernhard Langer, this course is particularly attractive to both professional and amateur players alike due to its beautiful natural surroundings.

Once the score cards had been handed out following a welcome brunch in the "Gutshof Penning" club house, the participants gathered out on the course and spent the rest of the day swinging, putting, and chipping to their hearts' content.

An awards ceremony in the four-star sports hotel “Das Ludwig” brought the tournament to an exciting conclusion. It was hosted by impressionist Wolf Frank, known for his work on TV and radio – the Lotto and Toto lottery announcements among others. He perfectly imitated well-known personalities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and made it an evening to remember.
