WINTERSTEIGER donates 5,000 euros to the Ried social market

Every year, WINTERSTEIGER supports a social institution at Christmas. This year, the amount goes to the social market "G'schäftl" in Ried Bahnhofstraße.
WINTERSTEIGER's managers donated their cost-of-living bonus to the social market back in February. The company management is therefore aware of the increasing demand for goods, which are sold on to people in need at low prices. CEO Dr. Florestan von Boxberg: "The amount is invested by the social market in everyday items such as flour, oil, pasta etc. and every euro is therefore put to very good use. As an economically sound company, we want to set an example of solidarity."
Christoph Wiesner, Chairman of the Rieder Sozialverein, expresses his thanks for the support: "In the last few years, the number of our customers has almost doubled. What is great for the economy is not good in our case. There are more and more people who can no longer afford to live day-to-day and are dependent on help. 70 people work on a voluntary basis. The great support from WINTERSTEIGER is help to help!"
