Economical and Flexible: DSB Singlehead NG XM Now in Operation for Wood Materials

WINTERSTEIGER installed two identical band saw systems for a German manufacturer of ecological and innovative building materials for modern house construction. In each case, the customer opted for a DSB Singlehead NG XM thin-cutting band saw. Several cross-conveyor units for product separation are located downstream.

The band saw systems mainly cut spruce logs at feed speeds of up to 40 m/min. They have a total length of 23.5 m and were integrated into the customer’s existing mechanization.
