WINTERSTEIGER apprentices on the road

In February and March, our first and second-year apprentices packed their bags and attended two exciting external seminars.
Health & dealing with resources
Learning together, eating together and getting to know each other better were the focus of the "Health & Handling Resources" seminar. The first-year apprentices spent a health seminar from February 19 to 20 at the Schleglberg seminar farm in Rottenbach.
One particular challenge was the UKK walk test, a fitness and endurance test in which the apprentices covered 2 km as quickly as possible at a steady pace. They had to keep an eye on their pulse. They also completed a HIIT workout (High Intensity Interval Training).

Communication, conflict management & presentation
In order to be optimally prepared for their big project in the final year of their apprenticeship, WINTERSTEIGER apprentices receive training from the second year onwards: At the Youth Guest House in Linz from March 25 to 26, they learned what skills they need for successful project collaboration.
A special highlight was the graffiti crash course at the port of Linz with a guided tour of Mural Harbor, Europe's largest graffiti and muralismo gallery: more than 300 graffiti, some of them oversized, by artists from 30 nations adorn the facades of old industrial buildings and house walls.
- Further seminar content:
- Verbal & non-verbal communication
- Active listening
- Competence in dealing with the media
- Conflict resolution made easy
