How do you test machines that will later run in a completely different electricity grid?

Our 16 third-year apprentices have recently been working hard to answer this question. As part of their apprenticeship project, they designed and built a special voltage generator that can be used to simulate the different grid situations in countries such as the USA or Japan. This makes it possible to test machines that are supplied to countries with a different voltage.

The apprentice project is an important part of training at WINTERSTEIGER: all apprentices in their third-year work on a project together and largely independently - from budgeting to development and production. At the end, there is a presentation in front of the Management Board, master craftsmen and trainers as well as many interested colleagues.

The project underlines the high standard of the apprenticeship and the outstanding skills of our young people. Dear apprentices, congratulations on this great achievement!
