Oslo Fiskehall modernizes employee spaces with Smartlocker to dry workwear and improve comfort

For over a century, Oslo Fiskehall has been a central hub for fresh fish and seafood. Processing around 100 tons of catch every day, it is one of Norway's most important fish markets. Anyone who has ever visited a fish market knows that humidity and intense smells are part of everyday life.

As part of a comprehensive modernization initiative, the employee areas at Fiskehall were equipped with around 120 Smartlocker. Employees can use the Smartlocker to dry their work clothes after work and store their personal valuables safely during their shift. For maximum security, all Smartlocker are equipped with electronic locks from Gantner, which are integrated into the central access control system.
